At least for optics. Our leaders don't try to make things at least look

good. Not releasing taxes, half a million dollar Wall St. speeches, and on and on and on. And everyone worries about a lack of trust. It's not that this stuff is illegal, and I wouldn't strongly refute someone saying it's not "wrong", but just the cumulation of all this shit over the years is enough to turn anyone into a cynic. Someone with a sense of honor would stick out like a sore thumb.
